Erick Alvarez has two decades of experience in the fitness industry, he has trained and designed exercise programs for hundreds of clients in San Francisco, Tampa Bay, and Fort Lauderdale. As an online personal trainer Erick has successfully coached clients across the globe.

Erick takes a holistic approach to fitness and sport, focusing on maintaining a strong connection between mind and body. He firmly believes that the amount of time and energy we devote to ourselves and to creating a healthy lifestyle is directly proportional to our personal evolution and excellence.

Health & Fitness Credentials

Erick is a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

He holds a BS in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from San Francisco State University (SFSU).

He has worked as an instructor and examiner of other personal trainers in ACSM certification workshops at the University of San Francisco and the San Francisco Bay Club.

He has conducted motivational seminars on fitness and health for the San Francisco Department of Public Health.

Erick has served as an advisor and consultant to health clubs, fitness studios, personal trainers, and other health and fitness professionals.

Athletic Interests

Erick stays in shape by weight training, running, and yoga. He has completed several triathlons, 10ks, centuries, and has three times made the 545-mile, 7-day trek from San Francisco to Los Angeles in the California AIDS/LifeCycle.
